Government Relations and Advocacy |

Various projects have required AgriSource to work closely with government agencies in Southeast Asia and gain an understanding of how to get things done. Successful government advocacy efforts have consisted of:
- Collaboration with government agencies on behalf of the U.S. Dry Pea and Lentil Council regarding pea tariff reduction in Thailand and Vietnam.
- On behalf of U.S. and Canadian exporters and Thai importers, AgriSource coordinated relations with the Thai government in reducing import tariffs on dry peas, lentils, and chickpeas from 30% to 5%.
