Educational Programs and Study Tours |
|

Educational programs are an important component of AgriSource's activities throughout the Asian region. AgriSource can handle arrangements for study tours to visit Southeast Asia or coordinate travel and invitations for participants to visit countries outside of Asia. Recent projects include:
- Study tour coordination on behalf of U.S. AID for several Asian and African teams visiting Thailand to study fresh fruit and vegetables, agricultural policy, farm mechanization, contract farming, crop substitution, livestock field crops and oilseeds, plant quarantine, and other food and agribusiness topics.
- Study tour coordination on behalf of the Palm Oil Crushers Association of Thailand and GTZ, the German foreign aid agency, to study palm oil production in Malaysia.
- Invitations and travel arrangements for ASEAN buyers and food processors to visit exporters, growing areas and pea noodle production courses in the U.S.
